People who donate $100 or more may be entered into a raffle to win:

Gift certificate from Cafe Roca,
Dinner for six catered by Gussie Motter,
Ceramic piece from Mata Ortiza (donated by Becky Orozco),
Fender Squire Stratocaster Guitar signed by all of the performers
Two tickets to the Arizona Theater Company’s first show in September (donated by Adriana Badal).

Ashanti explains Club’s benefits

Ashanti sat down with Boys & Girls Clubs of America in June 2011 while participating in a PSA shoot with 20 other prestigious Boys & Girls Club alumni.

In the video she explains that her very first public appearance was at the Boys and Girls Club talent show in her hometown. She performed inside the Club’s Gym on a homemade stage.

Your support this year may help give rise to another famous young person who discovered their passion for performing arts, sports, leadership, or a variety of other activities hey may find at the Club.

2012 Telethon planning is underway!

Our first meeting, held Tuesday, February 21st, focused on bringing new ideas and people into the planning team. This year’s event will see new entertainment and some of your favorites from year’s past. The telethon will recognize the 10th anniversary of The Boys and Girls Club of Bisbee. New online marketing techniques will be used and we plan to revamp the look of the logo and printed materials.

Our next meeting is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. March 13th at The Club. If you would like to volunteer, become part of the planning process, donate, perform or learn more about The Club. visit the contact page, fill in your information and send or call the number listed at the top of your screen.

We’re gearing up for another telethon. This annual event provids programs for the children in our community through the Boys and Girls Club of Bisbee. Ten years ago a team of people were told that our community was too small to support a club, but that did not stop them. They focused on their mission and several of those same hard-working individuals serve on the board today. This year the club celebrates 10 years of service!

The staff and board are proud of the accomplishment and our small community continues to support The Club. For that the staff and board are thankful! The telethon is a fun event that promotes the Boys and Girls Club while inviting performers, residents, volunteers and staff to come together and show what we’re made of! We invite you to participate!
